Inspiration with nature

There's nothing like a nature walk to get the creativity flowing! I got some inspiration for my next novel on this nature walk at Orton Bradley Park.

 

Peas

 My peas are finally ready! Reminds me of a scene from Partners in Slime, when Uncle Ivor "shelled peas into an upturned paua shell". They won't last long around here!

Vivacious Veges

After 11 school visit sessions over the past week, I finally get to use up these veges! First up, leek & potato soup! 

Halswell School Library Family Night

A big thanks to Zac for inviting me along to share my books with the families at Halswell School. Dylan's homemade slime went down a real treat!

St Albans School Visit

 I had a great time visiting St Albans School last week. 

They did pretty well on the vege quiz!
