I come up with most of my story ideas when I'm out in my garden. Quite a bit of my garden is edible, so if I get hungry I can munch on fresh strawberries, cranberries, cherry tomatoes or cucumbers. Dylan & I counted 33 edible plants – not bad for a small garden! Enzo and Portia often come out to keep me company.
This is my multi-coloured bean patch – purple, yellow and green beans.
It's amazing what you can do with an old leaky wheelbarrow – a great place to grow juicy strawberries!
Cherry Toms are sooooo sweet and juicy! The cucumber plant is taking over my greenhouse now – that's the yellow flower old Tom is looking at.
This is a wildfire chilli – just as the name suggests, it tastes like wild fire! See how many you can find, they're camouflaged with the leaves.
