Māori Language Week!

To celebrate the start of Māori Language week I'd like to share one of my favourite spreads in my latest book, You Don't Know How Lucky You Are!/Me i Mōhio Koe ki tō Waimarietanga!

I've enjoyed learning new words, and love the fact that certain words appear in a different colour to match the English equivalent.

I was delighted to learn that 'Exploded' is 'Pahū' – a great example of onomatopoeia! A big shout-out to Te Ama-Rere-Tai Rangihuna for translating it!
